Hurricanes are very large storms. Hurricanes go round and twist in a clockwise direction, the water rotates around what is called an 'eye' of the Hurricane. The eye of the Hurricane is always in the centre and is the calmest part of the Hurricane. The eye of the hurricane only has small winds and dots of rain but away from the eye is strong winds and giant waves, when this horrible weather comes onto land it can destroy our cities and towns.
